On IMVU, users can customize their avatar faces by using skins and heads. Skins are the makeup style of the avatar, while heads are the features of the avatar. While heads are higher quality, skins do not allow a lot of customization, meaning that if you wanted a very sharp eyeliner and glossy lips, applying a skin with these features will limit a lot the quality of your makeup.

Mesh heads, on the other hand, combine both the makeup style from skins and the facial features from a head allowing for ultra high quality and very smooth details. The downside to mesh heads is that they are bond to the initial head base they are made with, meaning that if you would like to change the head (facial features) and keep the makeup, you will not be able to. Mesh heads combine and lock both the head product and the skin product.

Custom orders are special requests that are made according to the specific needs of a customer. Having a custom head is the perfect choice to have a unique face and stand out among other users.

Yes. You will have to specify in the description when you will be ordering, and I will create a type called “any skin”, meaning that the skin part of the head will be almost invisible and the makeup (blush/contour/eyes/lips/other details) will be at full opacity. This way, you will be able to use the head with multiple skins and varied tones ranging from paler shades to much darker tone shades.

Shiva is among IMVU’s top creators both for clothing textures, hair and DNA products. Files are drawn by hand and are made in ultra high quality.

Custom products are not meant to be available for everyone, they are made to cater a small group of people that have exquisite taste and want something more unique, special and limited edition. 

Because of this, the time I dedicate in making custom products takes away from time that I could be spending making other general-availability products that I could sell and make more profit on.

The slots for custom items is always limited, as I do not want this to be my main business on IMVU, or in general, but rather an opportunity for anyone who enjoys my work to be able to experience their own, uniquely designed mesh head.

Custom products made by Shiva.vu have unlimited revisions, as long as they are within Shiva’s Terms of Service.

Unless there is a valid promotion global on the website, I do not offer extra discounts.

No, the final product is a digital product that will be available in the IMVU catalog and gifted from me (Shiva) to your IMVU username. No digital editable files in a graphics format (e.g. JPG, PNG, PSD) will be delivered to you, instead you will only be gifted the final version of the head I submit to my IMVU shop (Shiva). The format in which you receive the custom mesh head is an IMVU product (head) and can only be used on IMVU.

There is a no refund policy. You have unlimited revisions (within Shiva.vu’s Terms of Service) to have the head reworked until you are fully happy with it.
