What is baby hair?

Baby hair (hairs) are small hair strands which surround the hair extremities. We have new hair strands growing all the time, it's what actually makes out hair blend nicely with the head.

On IMVU, if you want to become a top-selling hair creator, adding baby hair to every single hair product you create is a must.

What do you need for baby hair?

You need a working mesh (.xmf) file for every opacity map purchased on Shiva.vu.

Shiva opacity maps are fully compatibly only with the meshes here.

You can still use the baby hair files with any mesh you have, as long as it is within Shiva.vu's terms, however there is no support provided to fit other 3rd party meshes. If you are an experienced creator, you are free to use these files with any baby hair mesh.

Please note that creating hairs with baby hair is for advanced creators, meaning you should have basic knowledge of deriving, changing textures, opacity maps. There is no need to have prior experience to adding meshes, as the mesh files provided on Shiva.vu come with tutorials on how to add them through IMVU classic and IMVU Studio.
